Inc500MSi LED LIGHTING NAMED TO INC 500 FASTEST GROWING COMPANIES IN AMERICA

Makers of the Popular LED iPAR the ONLY LED lamp Company on the prestigious list!

Deerfield Beach (August 16, 2012) – Three years of hard work, dedication to quality and superior performance have landed MSi the coveted award of one of the Top 500 fastest growing companies in America.

Back in 2008 when the economy was tanking and consumers were pulling back, MSi opened its doors and was busy creating a solution to the high energy consumption of hot, costly halogen lights in a myriad of applications – particularly in Retail, Hospitality, Museums and Furniture. Today, MSi iPAR's and the new XPAR's have been getting rave reviews across the nation. MSi iPAR's are amazing. They last for 13 years, using the same energy as a "nite lite" and give off no heat, saving a retailer as much as 80% on their direct energy costs. To the retailer that needs to keep 1000 lights turned on 14 hours a day all year long - MSi has been a life saver. Everything about MSi these days is HOT – except their light bulbs

MSi's time has come. All across the country, 90-watt halogen spotlights are being replaced with 12-watt iPAR LED lights. The conversion is a simple matter of unscrewing the old lights and screwing in the new ones, but the results are immediate and dramatic. Within hours of installation store employees notice a drop in the showroom temperature, a crispness of light and consistency of color - and an instant drop in the power bill.

MSi's VP of Sales & Marketing John Burke explains, "Many top retailers have told us our CCT (color) is more accurate, our CBCP (Center beam "punch") is much stronger and our consistency from one lamp to the next is extraordinary." Msi has enjoyed record sales each of the past three years, including major installations with Macy's, Nine West, Jones New York, TD Bank, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Francesca's Collection, Verizon Wireless, Rooms To Go, Thomasville Drexel Heritage and countless more.

Mr. Burke adds, "Many retailers are a little concerned about the initial investment of converting to LED lighting, but if they take the time to run the numbers, they'll see that switching over produces a great return on their investment." MSi has carved a strong presence in the PAR lamp category, and has just launched their latest innovation, the lighter, brighter XPAR line. "We're honored by this recognition. And, we're just getting started! When people like Macy's and Rooms To Go totaled up all the savings, they discovered that over the 13-year lifespan of the iPAR's they would save staggering amounts, and make a major contribution to the entire chain's bottom line. The real bottom line is this - investing in MSi lighting is like putting money in the bank."

2 Blocks South & 4 Blocks East - MSi LED iPAR's Lighting Up The Liberty Bell

The Liberty Bell, Symbol of America's Freedom and Independence, Gleams Under the Glow of MSi's Super Efficient LED's as World's Largest Lighting Show Gets Underway in Philadelphia.

The National Park Service has chosen the super efficient MSi iPAR 38 LED lights to illuminate the Liberty Bell in Downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2003 the bell was moved into the new Liberty Bell Center, a glass and steel pavilion that allows it to be viewed by the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This new setting is perfectly suited for the kind of efficient, bright and long burning light provided by LEDs.

Cast with the lettering "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof," this 2,000 lb. bell has stood as a symbol of American freedom for over 200 years. The National Park Service moved the Liberty Bell to its new home to allow easier viewing by the many visitors who come to see it each year. A special feature of the Liberty Bell Center are glass walls providing viewing of the bell both day and night. This is the ideal setting for the MSi LED iPAR's that are rated for 50,000 hours and can burn 24 hours a day and remain lit for years.

"First let me say how proud we are to be lighting the Liberty Bell," said John Burke, MSi VP of Sales & Marketing. "It is a great honor, but it is also a perfect place to showcase the many bonuses offered by our LED lights." "A special thanks to our distributor partner Maxwell Lighting & Energy who played a tremendous role in demonstrating the many benefits – and savings – to the National Parks Service. We could not have done this without them" Burke adds.

LEDs offer many advantages over the existing lamps traditionally found lighting important artifacts - chief among them are cost savings in energy and maintenance. LED lights consume far less energy and produce almost no heat, meaning reduced cost for both electricity and cooling. Exhibit spaces will also realize savings in the costs of lamp replacement and the manpower that requires.

Another big advantage to using MSi LEDs to light important artifacts is its contribution to their preservation. Many materials can suffer damage and fading as a result of long term exposure to the ultraviolet and infrared light waves that are produced by tungsten halogen lighting. The light emitted by LED's contains neither of these harmful wavelengths that can result in damage to priceless historic artifacts.

"The color rendering index of our newest LED's now meet or exceed that of the traditional tungsten halogen lighting," added Burke. "That means that museums and exhibit spaces like the Liberty Bell Center can now realize all the cost savings and preservation benefits of LED lighting and allow visitors to view objects and colors the way they were intended to be seen."

About the company

MSi has been underground (literally) for over a decade designing, testing, patenting & perfecting the most innovative LED accent, spot and flood lights in the world. Considered the world leader in solid-state lighting technology for miner's cap-lights, MSi has provided hundreds of thousands of LED mine lighting products to the gold and platinum mines throughout the world. MSi created the solution for the thousands of miners who daily would find themselves 2 miles underground, in dark, harsh conditions with a heavy battery attached to a super hot halogen light inches from their heads... today, these miners sport a brighter, clearer, longer lasting LED cap light that gives off virtually no heat, and stays lit for an entire shift – and then some.

Leveraging their LED expertise, and in collaboration with the leading optic developers and LED manufacturers globally, MSi has proven this same LED technology with accent spot and flood lighting for retail, commercial, furniture, restaurants & museums.

Compared to the Traditional Tungsten Halogen Lighting, LED’s Provide Museums with Energy and Maintenance Savings. Additional LED Advantages Over Tungsten Include a Lack of Ultraviolet and Infrared Emissions Which Can Cause Deterioration of Priceless Artworks.

Deerfield Beach, FL (Feb. 16, 2011) - Museum lighting is a constant struggle between providing visitors with the light they need to properly view displays and protecting priceless art from the damage and fading that lighting can cause … and doing it all in the most cost efficient manner. Museums nationwide including the Smithsonian and Getty are currently evaluating MSi LED lighting for its potential to provide both safe and effective lighting while delivering huge savings in both energy and maintenance cost.

“Recent advancements in LED lighting technology now allow them to provide accurate color discrimination without the harmful effects caused by ultraviolet and infrared emissions making them ideal for sensitive museum lighting,” said Bruce Johnson, MSi managing partner. “These improvements will now allow museums to enjoy the savings that LED’s provide along with a proper light that will not cause damage to art the way that traditional tungsten halogen might.”

LED lighting offers many advantages over tungsten halogen lighting traditionally found in museums - chief among them are cost savings in energy and maintenance. LED lights consume far less energy and produce almost no heat meaning reduced cost for both electricity and cooling. Museums will also realize savings in the costs of light replacement. A typical tungsten halogen light burning 12 hours a day will need replacement every four months. The equivalent LED light burning 12 hours a day can last up to 13 years. Durable LED lighting can also withstand the constant repositioning that is required by a museums changing exhibitions.

In the Past Two Years, the Nation’s Premier Department Store Chain Has Replaced Over 400,000 Hot & Costly Halogen Spotlights with Super Efficient LED Lights, including the amazing 12 watt MSi iPAR.

Deerfield Beach, FL – National Department store chain Macy’s has announced a wide ranging program to reduce energy consumption and waste as part of the company's comprehensive effort to promote sustainability and operating efficiency. Part of this program includes the continued replacement of halogen lighting with long life, super efficient LED lighting, including MSi iPAR’s. Last year Macy’s replaced over 130,000 60 watt halogen bulbs, and in 2011 another 280,000 LED lights will be installed in over 200 stores.

The conversion to LED was a simple matter of unscrewing the old lights and screwing in the new ones, but the results were immediate and dramatic. Unlike hot & high wattage halogen lights, the extremely efficient.LED lights use a fraction of the wattage and produce very little heat, lowering the amount of energy needed for air conditioning. “Macy’s is serious about operating their stores in an efficient manner,” said Bruce Johnson, MSi managing partner, “and LED lighting will help them reach that goal by providing them with a highly efficient light source that consumes less energy and produces very little heat.”

LED’s use a fraction of the power required by halogen spots while producing a clean, clear light that enhances product displays and merchandise. Additional savings are realized in the lower maintenance and replacement cost for LED lighting. The typical 60-watt halogen light burning 12 hours a day will need to be replaced approximately every six months. The new Macy’s LED lamps burning 12 hours a day will last for more than a decade and produce far less landfill waste.
